I think ever child is diffrent... my oldest did nt want to potty train till his little brother was born and he was fully trained at 3... my other son was fully trained 2 weeks after he turned 2... my daughter is 2 yrs and 2 months... she knows to go potty in the potty... i'm not in any rush..

I do nt think a 1 yr old should be expected to be potty trained but it would be nice to train my son not to be scared of the toilet and know its a natural thing.
