Morinaga Milk is a much - lauded
yuri manga artist whose works have been published in Comic High, Comic Yuri Hime, and other manga magazines in Japan.
The genre has experienced an explosion in popularity with both the invention of digital comics and with the growth of the LGBT comic communities in Japan — with that growth there is now a lot of
yuri manga, and not all of it is good.

Seven Seas handed out a treat to
manga readers yesterday with news that they've licensed a new
yuri series:
One of the more famous names, at least to
yuri fans, was «Morinaga Milk», a mangaka who had a short
yuri series running in Ichijinsha's Comic
Yuri Hime, a magazine devoted to «Girls» Love»
manga, usually of the Story A variety (I like this girl, hey she likes me back, look we like each other) as mentioned several times by Erica Friedman on her Okazu site.
The site will also include
yuri (love stories between two women), yaoi (love stories between two men) and other
manga targeted at adults, but because it is aimed at a general readership, it will not include adults - only content.
