z hypnotics can access an alternative GP for community detoxification through a Specialist Type Consultation.
If an individual is using methadone / benzodiazepines or methadone /
z hypnotics they can access a Community Detoxification.
Converting to diazepam is the most recognized practice for
z hypnotic detoxification and is supported by international literature.
Based on international literature, The Community Detox Guidelines make recommendations for the detoxification of
z hypnotic substances through converting to diazepam.
