Even though Dead Rising 4 does a great job early on of making you think you
've encountered a large group of
zombies, it amps it way up as time goes by.
That's not to say I didn't
have fun playing Escape Dead Island; The story managed to pull me through each
zombie encounter, but the combat didn't feel fleshed out enough (again, pun totally intended) to be a genre defining game.

've easily doubled the amount of content with the Final Cut Expansion; adding more characters, vehicles,

encounter you don't get the horror challenge again if you happen to bump into more
zombies later on
While roaming the world you'll also
encounter some new and humorous random events from a man at a camp talking to his tied up
zombie wife to a few men
having a last stand against a horde.
Not only will you
have to face yourself as a
zombie, any of your friends who are connected to you on Miiverse will also
have to
encounter your former survivor.
What should
have been a fun undead decapitating romp ends up being a tiresome crawl through uninspired levels, no, corridors peppered with abysmally boring boss
encounters and seemingly infinite
zombies to plough through.
Barry and Claire seem to
have forgotten to shoot
zombies in your absence and Moira
has become a very flammable liability during the mini-boss
encounters with the fireball - launching fat nappy -
zombies (as gross as they sound).

zombies that could hit me through a door or that
would get stuck behind an invisible wall.

zombie encounters are still quite chilling, as you
have to press buttons and make the correct movements in order to survive each

State of Decay delivers the most compelling experience of living through a
