"Contract brewing" refers to a business arrangement where a brewery hires another brewery to produce beer for them. The brewery that doesn't own the brand is responsible for brewing, packaging, and sometimes even distributing the beer. It allows smaller or newer breweries to produce their beer without the need for investing in their own brewing equipment or facilities.
