This question can apply to other MH titles, but I thought I'd ask it for both 3U / 4U seeing as how I'm flip - flopping between both I know that Affinity in any given weapon basically equals the percentage amount of critical strikes and deals more damage as a whole... but after jumping back into 3U and hearing about the Chaotic Gore items on 4U, I've always questioned what negative Affinity means. The new addition here is co-operative attacks and while you will be busy placing your characters around the grid to attack enemies, the interaction is limited and the only thing that keeps you occupied is trying to execute multiple critical strikes on the enemy which require a carefully timed press during attack. Every character has a barrage of detailed stats that can be read through to get a better idea of how the should be built up, be it perhaps increasing their leadership for better morale checks or bumping up the chance of hitting critical strikes. (wolfsgamingblog.com)
