While I've been a bit miffed that The Wasp, who in the comics was one of the founding members of the Avengers, was no where near the Avengers film in the MCU, leaving Black Widow to be the lone main female character on the team at first, I was thrilled to see that the character — or the mantle, at least — appeared first via Ant - Man with the introduction of Hope van Dyne and now more front - and - center as a costumed superhero in Ant - Man and The Wasp.
