I suppose if my goal was to draw parishoners to the business as you suggested, then I would advocate that we all clean the outside of our bowls a little better and follow a stricter rule and law type program, but my purpose is to love people and by some miracle of grace unknown to me, allow them to see Jesus in my life enough to want to follow Him too.
