Well, there will generally be enforcement where the foreign court can see that the issuing court had proper jurisdiction over the parties, whether the defendant had notice, whether or not the proceedings were subject to corruption / and where the judgment isn't repugnant to the public policy of the enforcing jurisdiction. But I am sure there will be questions about whether that statute applies in this situation, as it is not applicable if «the adverse party has shown in abatement that the first filing was made with intentional disregard of proper jurisdiction,» or if it is applicable where a 60 day right to file notice under the TCHRA is involved.
