"Tax havens" are countries or places where people or businesses can keep their money or assets in order to pay less taxes or avoid paying taxes altogether. They usually have low or no tax rates, strict privacy laws, and little or no financial transparency. This allows individuals or companies to legally reduce the amount of tax they owe to their home country.
