Undersea volcanoes are volcanoes that erupt underwater, beneath the surface of the ocean. They release molten rock, or magma, which can form new land formations, such as islands or underwater mountains. These volcanoes are different from the ones we typically see on land and can have unique habitats and ecosystems around them since they are located in water.
