Because when not - yet AP parents believe that attachment parenting comes with a whole bunch of other stuff (albeit much good stuff), like homemade baby food (not necessarily AP), cloth diapers (not necessarily AP), most expensive carseats / infant carriers (not necessarily AP), homeschooling (not necessarily AP), and not working out of the home (not necessarily AP) it becomes something less attainable to the general public.
