Leaving the church because someone misused their authority, or emotionally abused us (physical abuse is a whole different issue) is a ridiculous aenswr. (religion.blogs.cnn.com)
Also I have no problem with catholics going against the teachings of their church, but it's a whole different issue to force leaders in the church to provide what is contradictory to their own teachings. (religion.blogs.cnn.com)
