Unfortunately it doesn't appear that too many students take advantage of the
free breakfast benefit (maybe 20 % of the school?).
Lots of digital ink has been spilled over taking the Andaz Wall Street's
Diamond breakfast benefit by room service, but I hadn't realized that benefit was offered by some Hiltons as well.
This fee is charged per room so it's contradictory in my mind that they charge the resort fee on a per - room basis but offer the
complimentary breakfast benefit on a per - booking basis.
The Diamond

There's no mention of the SPG
Platinum breakfast benefits and the way the sentence is phrased doesn't seem to leave open the option of those benefits coming in at a later date — and that would be a shame.
Because the hotel offers a Club Lounge there is no option to take the Diamond
breakfast benefit in the hotel's restaurant or as room service — not an issue for us but I thought I'd mention it as I know some people will want to know.
You probably have your own way of calculating how much value you can get from these programs; if you travel exclusively for work and rarely spend time in your room, you may not care about upgrades, and if you aren't a big breakfast eater, the free

I really care about good breakfast so, I often book hotels through virtuoso for
the breakfast benefits when rates are $ 300 / night but in that case, I'd rather use points.
Would Diamond
breakfast benefit be wiped out by FHR breakfast benefit?
