I thought I would write a post for all
new breastfeeding mums and share my top tips on how to feel confident during your breastfeeding journey.

I find myself feeling conscious about not being a
pushing breastfeeding mum, my best friend has just had a baby and wanted to breastfeed.
Things that the woman's partner, friend or family member can say that will be helpful and encouraging to a
new breastfeeding mum.
My second baby is now 15 months old and as a second
time breastfeeding mum I can say I feel a lot more confident this time around.
Whilst it's generally recommend to avoid alcohol in pregnancy, the advice
for breastfeeding mums is a little more relaxed.
Often times
breastfeeding mums find that co-sleeping and / or bed sharing with their babies and toddlers allows for easy popping out of the boob without actually having to wake up fully!
Many of us toddler
breastfeeding mums know that some people cringe a bit when they hear our toddlers gleefully yelling out «boobie!!»

Why can't we just live in a society

my top tip would be to get to your local support groups before baby arrives, meet the breastfeeding supporters and
local breastfeeding mums.
Such stories in the press highlight the legal and social injustices
against breastfeeding mums, and it's hugely important that they're brought to light.
If you are a new
