You could also
use cavatappi pasta which are shorter corkscrews, or just go for the traditional elbow macaroni which can found pretty much anywhere.

carry Cavatappi pasta, elbow macaroni makes an excellent substitute!
Often, those fusilli - or -
cavatappi numbers are mayonnaise - y and heavy with with weird bits of carrot and bell pepper.
Penne pasta is a good choice, but you can use macaroni shells or elbows, cavatelli or
cavatappi if you prefer.
Fortunately for us that
included cavatappi pasta, garlic, onion, fresh basil, and Parmesan cheese.

Just about any pasta would be good with this, but I used
cavatappi because it just happens to be my absolute favorite.
And I always had a hard time deciding between my two favorites —
Pesto Cavatappi and a Chicken Pomodori panini.
Curly cavatappi is tossed with a fresh basil pesto, juicy sweet cherry tomatoes, and creamy bocconcini — tiny fresh mozzarella balls.
Transfer
artichoke cavatappi to a 8x8 baking dish and broil until the top layer is browned and crisp, about 2 to 4 minutes.
You can use any pasta you'd like but I've made this one
with Cavatappi and Fusilli.
