The phrase
"extra fibre" means getting more of a type of food called fiber, which is good for our body.
Full definition
Whole wheat flour is full of nutrients and flavour and also adds a
little extra fibre to your baked goods.
The idea is that the black beans, as well as giving a bit
of extra fibre, can reduce the amount of fat in the cake without making it taste less delicious.
Peel and slice the second kiwi fruit into rounds (I prefer to leave the skin on
for extra fibre but it's a matter of personal choice).
