Metrico is an ingenious and unique Vita puzzler heavily weighed down
by gimmicky controls and technical issues.
It's a little bit better game than the reviews indicate, mainly because the reviewers all marked it down for
the gimmicky controls (it uses every funky feature of the Vita).
But you only have to use
the gimmicky controls once in a while and often there are alternatives which use just the normal controls.
As reviews trickle in for this title, it seems the game suffers from longer - than - expected load times,
some gimmicky control schematics, and some polarizing opinions.
Luckily, the function of this is to reveal secrets, and so
the gimmicky controls are not mapped to any of the moves needed in platforming or combat.
The problem with the Wii U version seems to be
the gimmicky controls if using the touch screen.
In essence, as I keep saying, the biggest worry for Old Zelda fans is that Skyward Sword is going to have
gimmicky controls, a cheesy story, and a worthless adventure, just like the cartoony Zelda games on the DS have shown is the trend for the games.
