The first time I did this, I used a no -
sew hemming tape and lots and lots of glue.
Directly under the pin line, apply a strip
of hem tape.
I've made some with a small sewing machine, but most are just made
with hemming tape and an iron.
It didn't seem necessary to use
fusible hem tape to stabilize the neck or hems since this fabric is pretty beefy as is.
I walked all over the store in search of the
adjustable hem tape, finally looking it up on the site and then walked right to aisle D4.
Once you have the rings and material together, and after you have used
the hem tape if it is needed, you will want to hold both rings parallel to the floor.
This is typically called, «
hem tape».
BE SURE to follow the directions of
the hem tape for the hemming process.

Hem Tape — We've all had it happen — a perfect outfit planned and then one mis - step and we rip the hem out.
Hem tape, or some other fusible product might work.
Whip up a no - sew bandana with some cute fabric and fabric glue... MORE or
hemming tape, or a no - sew tutu with elastic and strips of tulle.
I cut the bottom hem off the shower curtain so the stripe would be the same width plus a 7/8 ″ seam allowance needed for
the hem tape.
Apply iron - on
hem tape (I like Heat N Bond UltraBond Iron - on Adhesive) to one side of each fabric panel with the 7/8 ″ seam allowance.
Remove the paper backing from
the hem tape, fold the hem over, and iron.
Cut the excess fabric off below
the hem tape.
Then, I used
the hem tape, a damp cloth, and my iron to hem a nice edge on what would be the bottom of the headboard slip cover.

hem tape.
