"Hydraulic lines" refers to the pipes or tubes that carry fluids, usually oil or water, in a hydraulic system. These lines enable the transmission of force and energy to power various machinery and equipment.
Full definition
When removing an anti-lock brake system controller, there are many
brake hydraulic lines connecting to it; Usually there are between eleven to fifteen lines connected to the ABS controller.
The
same hydraulic lines minimize body roll in cornering and do it so well the car doesn't even have an anti-roll bar.
This avoided running
hydraulic lines from the engine (which was behind the driver in the MR2) up to the steering rack.
Flare Wrenches / Line Wrenches: If you are going to be wrenching
on hydraulic lines you MUST get these wrenches or you will round them off.
Porsche insiders defend the electric steering by saying there's no longer any need to
run hydraulic lines from the engine to the steering, which saves weight and cost and complexity, plus it saves fuel.
The system uses valve - adjustable shocks interconnected
with hydraulic lines for greater body control, and the system pays off by feeling poised and responsive.
Apart from a few external control issues, such as throttle controls and the vehicle speed sensor, failure to shift usually reflects an internal component failure such as a shift solenoid, clutch pack, valve body defect, inadequate
hydraulic line pressure or leaks, and so forth.
This is because the
main hydraulic line that leads from the reservoir to the transmission was too close to the exhaust manifold, this subsequently wares away on the material until a leak is sprung.
A network of
cross-connected hydraulic lines (hoses and lines in the lower left of the photo) and dual - chamber shocks (compression chamber, rebound chamber) bleeds excess pressure from one side of the shock to the other, or from one side of the car to the other.

The diagonally opposed pairs of shock absorbers are linked
by hydraulic lines and a central valve.
At one point, the Atlas robot from Hong Kong University spills head - first out of its vehicle, tearing
its hydraulic lines and spraying fluid in an arc.
Replaced clutch disc, pressure plate, throwout bearing, master cylinder and
hydraulic line.
Although we don't service commercial vans like your Transit, I would recommend having your power steering system bled by a professional commercial or diesel mechanic; as it's quite possible that you have air bubbles or an obstruction within
the hydraulic lines.
Most transmission problems are due to either low fluid levels or dirty transmission fluid and debris inside
the hydraulic lines, creating an obstruction and difficulty shifting gears.
When the fluid levels are fine, then it is likely that there are obstructions of debris inside
the hydraulic lines of the transmission or...
Start the vehicle and inspect underneath for any leaks coming from
hydraulic lines.
The January 2018 service was initiated to repair an issue with
a hydraulic line that was affecting the steering.
Hydraulic lines link pistons on opposite sides of the suspension, acting in the same manner as a tradition anti-roll bar but with greater effectiveness, more control and less friction.
Once you get it loose, you should be able to hand screw the power steering pressure switch off
the hydraulic line.
Make sure the following parts are exactly the same: the connection that screws into
the hydraulic line or the power steering pump, and the electrical harness connection.
It utilizes a power steering pressure switch to measure the pressure inside
the hydraulic lines so that the engine control module can increase or reduce hydraulic flow to maximize efficiency across the board.
Secure one side of the end wrench to the bottom of
the hydraulic line and the other to the actual sensor switch.
Screw the new power steering pressure switch into its connection on
the hydraulic lines or the power steering pump.
If the pressure switch is attached to
a hydraulic line, you'll need to use two wrenches to remove it.
The electric power steering buys linear power assist, a comfort program making the wheel easier to turn and likely better long - term reliability, as there are
no hydraulic lines to keep pressurized.
DRC's diagonally opposed pairs of shock absorbers are linked by
hydraulic lines and a central valve.
New steering rack, control arms, radiator, brakes, timing chain tensioner, engine mounts, struts, blower motor,
hydraulic lines are just a part of the list of items replaced.
Police say those responsible trespassed onto the site and put debris into
the hydraulic lines of a Spider Plow boring machine, causing thousands of dollar damage to the specialized equipment used for burying cables and high voltage lines.
Loss of steering can happen if
a hydraulic line breaks or is cut by debris kicked up from the road.
Maintained different equipment in well condition such as nitrogen, vacuum and
hydraulic lines, and compressed air
Replaced worn parts on heavy construction equipment including cutting edges, bucket teeth, slide brass, table brass, ripper teeth, and
hydraulic lines.
