If you can't look at another bunch of
lacinato kale ever again, it's time to switch to collard greens.
As for the greens, I used a few leaves
of Lacinato kale sliced into ribbons, and a big handful of carrot tops -LRB-!)
I also love
using lacinato kale as the base for my kale - pesto recipe, tossing it into zucchini noodles or spreading it on to flatbread or pizza in place of boring old sauce.
We used
Lacinato Kale also known as Italian kale, or Dinosaur kale for this kale juice recipe, but you can use whatever you have on hand or have access to.

Tuscan kale is also known
as lacinato kale or dinosaur kale.

Detoxifying Green Drink This detoxifying green drink is full of detoxifying greens
including lacinato kale, dandelion and cilantro.
7 - 10 leaves of kale (
preferably lacinato, but curly will work) handful of some kind of nut (I've been using almonds) 1 carrot 1/2 avocado 1 t ginger, minced 1 clove garlic, minced 1 T miso paste 2 t tahini 2 T lemon juice 2 T olive oil soy sauce to taste
Then add a couple tablespoons of the slow cooked Herdez ® chicken chipotle, a few slices of avocado and top with
shredded Lacinato kale and red onions.

In general, this study showed that curly - leafed kale varieties and

Our backyard garden is finally bustling with tons of herbs,
gigantic lacinato kale, the sweetest green beans, lacy elderflowers, and even some baby strawberries!
I used a mix of baby kale, baby spinach and baby swiss chard because I couldn't find good
looking lacinato kale on Christmas eve.
It's also the one I grow in my garden,
since lacinato is much easier to clean than its curly cousin.
