I
use maple syrup on top of oatmeal / porridge most days, but I also like experimenting with it when it comes to liquid sweeteners and baking.
This particular version usually makes it to our breakfast table sans chocolate chips but with a drizzle of
warm maple syrup on top.
If it's not quite as sweet as you would like it, use a pastry brush to add a light layer of
maple syrup on the top while the granola is still warm.
And I can tend to be hypoglycemic, so my blood sugar levels just get out of whack easier than other people, and so I learned very early on, if I just ate plain Bisquick pancakes with a lot of
fake maple syrup on top for breakfast I would be seriously ill in a few hours.
I also decorated these brownies with a delectable caramelized tahini swirl, made from dropping dollops of tahini swirled
with maple syrup on top of the batter.
As a side note, these pancakes are not sweet on their own, but I did that knowing that most of us
add maple syrup on top... or if you're Willow, you add chocolate chips to the batter.
Instead, I prefer to load up my Berry French Toast with whole fruits and then drizzle just enough
pure maple syrup on top.
I love how healthy these are too, so that just gives permission to add lots of
maple syrup on top, right?!
Pour coconut milk across the plantain slices and drizzle
the maple syrup on top, adding more or less depending on how sweet you'd like the dish.
In fact, I too love having breakfast for dinner and when I got home from a long day of work tonight, I made vegan banana pancakes with NuNaturals powder, cinnamon, nut meg, almond milk, sea salt, and drizzled
maple syrup on top.....
Once its cool brush
some maple syrup on the top to give some shine and glaze to the pecans, and sprinkle some flaky salt.
