True, it doesn't quite have the
longevity of a cake stand or a cutting board but good food, shared between friends, is the stuff memories are made of.
I like the
use of the cake stand giving the centerpiece some height and variation and like the greenery «fillers».
A piece of coral I already had at the house, sitting on
top of a cake stand, is topped with a few starfish and sweet peas, and trimming for an eye - catching combination.

To give it height, I placed it on top
of a cake stand, and continued the layers of leaves, pinecones and bittersweet.
