I added a
lot of chopped walnuts that were already roasted, dried cranberries, and a teaspoon of vanilla extract.
The walnut cinnamon swirl is

There is just so much typically going on between all the carrots, spices, raisins [and of course that incredible frosting] that nuts aren't really necessary, however if you feel you need the added crunch, go ahead and toss a handful
