I know I'm a big
fan of vanilla protein powder because you can mask it with so many different flavors, but this is a pretty solid chocolate choice.
Ingredients: • 1 ripe banana — can be frozen for extra creaminess • 1/2 cup fresh blackberries • 1 cup milk of choice (I used and like unsweetened coconut, almond and rice) • 1 handful fresh spinach • Optional: scoop
of vanilla protein powder of choice Instructions: • Combined all ingredients in a blender • Blend and enjoy!!
The single tablespoon of nut butter adds richness with a little fat, but feel free to use an additional tablespoon
of vanilla protein powder if you are looking to make it nut butter free.
Sometimes I'll add a
scope of vanilla protein powder and vanilla almond milk (unsweetened) and its pretty good but my favorite is unsweetened chocolate almond milk and the raw beauty powder.
I just made this with the adjustments of using a half scoop
of vanilla protein powder in place of eggs, raw honey in place of date / stevia, added a 1 / 4t vanilla extract and a tiny sprinkle of freshly grated nutmeg.
1/2 cup frozen banana slices 1/4 cup frozen blueberries 1 tablespoon vanilla protein powder 1 tablespoon almond butter (or an additional
tablespoon of vanilla protein powder) 2 cups frozen, chopped spinach 1 cup plain almond milk
Take 1/3 cup of oatmeal (not instant), 1/3 cup of low - fat (one percent, no salt added) cottage cheese and 3 egg whites combined with your sweetener of choice, 1 teaspoon of vanilla, 1 or 2 packets of stevia or a quarter scoop
of vanilla protein powder if you really need that extra protein boost.
So the next batch, I added a tablespoon of almond butter, a scoop
of vanilla protein powder, & a tsp of stevia.
As usual, this was 1 frozen banana, 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk, 1 tbsp peanut butter, 1/2 scoop
of vanilla protein powder, a handful of spinach and a handful of ice.
1 1/2 steamed and frozen sweet potato (about 2 cups)-- white or orange sweet potato will both work well 1 cup of frozen berries of your choice — i went for blackberries as they create a gorgeous dark purple 1/2 ripe avocado 1 tablespoon of One Earth Shine Bright Blend 1 tablespoon
of vanilla protein powder — this is completely optional, it adds a bit of sweetness but you can leave it out if you don't have it.
And with a scoop
of vanilla protein powder, I got to call it dinner.
Almond milk, flax seed, chia seed, almond butter or scoop
of vanilla protein powder, healthy handful of any frozen berries ie fruit and a fresh banana, blend well.
Combine 1/2 scoop
of vanilla protein powder, three egg whites, one to two tablespoons of natural peanut butter (or nut butter of choice) and 1/4 cup of unsweetened almond milk.
If you want a bit more protein, you can also add 1/4 scoop
of vanilla protein powder.
I used 4 oz marscapone cheese, 4 oz cream cheese, 3 eggs, a little bit of light cream (not sure how much, I just eyeballed it... maybe 3 tablespoons) one scoop
of vanilla protein powder and 3 packets of Splenda.
1 large handful of spinach 1/2 cup of frozen mango 1 banana 1 scoop
of vanilla protein powder (optional) 1 heaping tbsp of cashew butter 2 tbsp of coconut yogurt 1/2 cup of coconut water 1/2 cup of almond milk
A fistful of cacao beans went into the Vitababy along with a frozen banana, a big glop of peanut butter, a couple glugs of almond milk, a small scoop
of vanilla protein powder, and a handful of ice.
I have made these twice now, first time I used marscapone cheese intstead of cream cheese and added a scoop
of vanilla protein powder and they were really good.
If you want to increase the protein a bit, feel free to blend in a tablespoon
of vanilla protein powder, and / or use Silk Organic Unsweetened Soymilk instead of Cashewmilk.
I put in a scoop
of vanilla protein powder and I also added some ice cubes.
Try this fantastic green smoothie recipe: 1 heaping scoop
of vanilla protein powder, 1/2 a lemon, 1/2 cup of fresh or frozen mixed berries, 1/2 cup almond milk, some raw spinach, 1 tablespoon of flax seeds, ice and a bit of Stevia!
In the video, you'll see how I mixed in some vanilla extract, a few scoops *
of vanilla protein powder and about 1/4 cup almond milk.
Transfer the almond / chia / spice mixture to your blender, and add a package or a scoop
of vanilla protein powder.
For a simple smoothie, you can try a scoop
of vanilla protein powder, banana, handful of spinach, 1 tsp.
