Physalis is a fruit that belongs to the nightshade family. It has a round, orange-like appearance with a paper-like husk. This fruit is also called a "ground cherry" or "Chinese lantern" because of its unique shape and appearance.

I thought readers might recognize fresh Inca berries (
physalis) but not the dried kind.
