Do not under any circumstance use
fabric softner as this causes the fabric to be coated and thus repels moisture.
I do add a capful of Calgon
water softner to my wash every month and do an extra rinse to keep build - up down and it works wonderfully.
I'm in desperate need of help for relief I've taken like 4
stool softners now and tried syrup and water and nothing helps.
You could also put used fabric sheets in there as they come out of the dryer or install that fabric
softner bar that goes in the dryer.
We've been using vinegar as a fabric
softner for well over a year now and it's helped with my son's eczema.
We use bouce fabric
softner in dryer with no problems.
We are going thru the same thing with our puppy Grace, she is 12wks and she had a porlapse on Thanksgiving Day, they did the purse string and we removed 1wk later and then it has relapsed out twice and had to do another purse string, so now she is not eating good since we had to give her
stool softners and i made rice / chicken broth for her now she has the diareaha.
A few other things that can save a little $ while being eco-friendly is using white vinegar in the rinse cycle as
fabric softner.
Currently I use Purex Powder with vinager as
a softner and put in the dryer w a purex luandry sheet.
I also make my own dishwasher liquid, laundry detergent, and fabric
softner.
I have well water (with
a softner that doesn't seem to work real well) so our water hardness varies quite a bit.
Carpet cleaning remedies, wood polishes, fabric
softner, laundry detergent, scouring powder and much, much more.
It makes my clothes smell SOOOOO Good and along with the downy fabric
softner it will smell even better.
The home also has a water
softner.
I needed a fabric
softner.
I like vinegar as a fabric
softner but the only thing I battle with is my bath towels.
You just wash them without fabric
softner and hang to dry.
