"Status miles" refers to the miles or distance that one accumulates while flying on an airline. These miles determine the level of "status" or benefits that a passenger receives, such as upgrades, priority boarding, or access to airport lounges. The more miles you fly, the higher your status with the airline.

collecting status miles, while the PPS Club membership is earned by spending a certain amount of money on flights in premium classes.
