SPED 229 Practicum in Behavioral Disorders and / or Learning Disabilities (K - 12) This practicum consists of
supervised teaching experiences for students in programs serving students with learning disabilities and / or behavoral disorders.
Under current rules, teachers must have a bachelor's (and eventually a master's) degree, complete coursework in their subject area, have
extensive supervised teaching experience and pass certification exams.
SPED 228 Practicum - Mild and Moderate Disabilities (5 - 12) This practicum consists of
supervised teaching experiences for students in programs serving students with mild and moderate disabilities.
To qualify for initial teacher licensure in Montana, you will need to hold a Bachelor's degree, have completed an accredited professional educator preparation program, and successfully completed
a supervised teaching experience.
