As someone who
publishes ebooks on almost every platform out there, I'd say almost certainly not.
As the largest eBook retailer this is a potentially significant issue for anyone
publishing an eBook with lots of images, such as a photography or illustrated book.
And online retailers agreed to carry
self published ebooks as it cost them no physical floor space, or stock, to house the manuscript.
If there are any other
published ebook authors out there — curious your thoughts and experience w / the other platforms.
Firstly, the same amount of thought, preparation and quality should be taken
when publishing an eBook just like any print book.
I just got picked up by a publisher and they are saying that in addition to the print book, they will be
publishing an ebook as well.
Until that day, every retailer was welcoming self -
published ebooks into their stores, gave authors control over their pricing, and paid up to 70 % list.
When I self
published my ebook instead, I immediately received so many amazing reviews, I started to realise that the agents and publishers were not going to stop me becoming an author.
