Fabric softener is possibly one such product, and many parents are worried that
using fabric softener in their child's laundry could potentially be harmful or cause rashes or other skin issues.

people use fabric softener, and especially that you found Ecover's version to work wonders.
Do not, under any circumstance,
use fabric softener as this causes the fabric to be coated and thus repels moisture.
Preemie prefolds make great doublers and then definitely using fleece as covers works fantastically and another trick is to
use fabric softener when washing or drying the fleece.
Issues with diapers and soakers repelling can be caused by not fulling prepping,
using fabric softeners in the washer, dryer sheets or diaper creams.
The good news is that there are no major risks associated with
using fabric softener on your baby or younger children's clothing.
If you notice a build - up of residue on your diapers or your diapers are not as absorbent AND YOU HAVE NOT been

I don't
use fabric softener because it a) always seems to get on some of our clothing and ruin it and b) you aren't supposed to use it on children's pajamas.
