I usually
use soap nuts for diapers and they need hot water unless you make soap nut soak ahead of time... which I rarely do... see «lazy» note above.
To be totally honest, following a traditional Chinese practice, I didn't
use soap on my breasts for a while after the birth.
At first you should only be using water and
never use soap without being told otherwise.
I don't
use soap at work, and I have never had a problem with this method.
Also, ensure that your child frequently
uses soap when washing their hands, more so if your child sucks his finger (s) or thumb (s).
