It is sweet to the taste (It is sweetened
with agave syrup) and smells yummy too!
The first batch I
made with agave syrup and 2 cups of sugar, but that set up really firmly.
Vegan, gluten - free, and sweetened
with agave instead of marshmallows, these were delicious.
I decided to just take a risk and replaced the icing
sugar with agave nectar and the white sugar with a few tablespoons of raw sugar.
And sweetened with honey, which you can also
substitute with agave, or regular white sugar if that's what you have on hand.
I had not tried the brown rice syrup, and one small
problem with agave syrup was that it didn't hold the bars together enough.
The recipe is incredible with maple syrup, and worked very
well with agave too.
3 Return the oat mixture to the blender
along with the agave nectar and the vanilla extract and blend until thoroughly combined.
I'm referring to ice cream
flavored with agave nectar, or cookies sweetened with white grape juice concentrate, and anything in between.

I would also
go with agave nectar instead of honey unless your doctor has cleared honey for you.
To serve, add a meringue nest to a bowl and whip some chilled coconut
milk with some agave nectar (to taste) to create a thick double cream consistency.
It is hard to have freedom if you aren't given the entire story, and up until now that has been the
case with agave.
These are grain -
free with agave syrup, and are raw if you just barely warm the coconut oil and choose raw versions of the other ingredients.
She uses powdered sugar also but you could play
around with agave or honey if you wanted to go that route.
I think you could substitute honey for maple syrup, but I think you might have better
luck with agave, since it's similar in consistency to maple syrup.
In a separate small bowl whisk the remaining half of
lemon with agave and black pepper.
One
question with the agave syrup - do you reckon I could substitute with honey as I tend to have a lot in my cupboard?
In lieu of sugar, sweeten this
beverage with agave, a natural syrup that's available in mainstream supermarkets and organic food stores.
In food processor or short cup blender combine dates and
water with agave nectar and blend until smooth.
And if you have
issue with agave then leave it out or substitute something else like banana or applesauce.
If you prefer your sugar in the agave fructose form I have made an
icing with agave and coconut oil and arrowroot in the past.
Meanwhile, make the coconut cream filling by whisking the coconut
cream with the agave syrup until it resembles whipped cream.
To make the recipe vegan, replace the cheese with crumbled vegan feta and the
honey with agave nectar.
Combine the coconut
sugar with the agave, mix together with a fork until it is all moist like brown sugar.
