Their suggestion was to use a boxed cake mix, but I made my
own dry cake mix and was happy with how it turned out.
Not to be daft, but I am assuming you're mixing
in dry cake mix, not cake batter that's been mixed with eggs, etc...
Or, only
the dry cake mix and soda?
Is it only
the dry cake mix and the cream soda mixed together or is it the cake mix made according to the package plus the cream soda?
Hi Leigh Ann ~ you'll ignore the recipe on the cake mix box and just follow the recipe above... using
the dry cake mix, 2 eggs, and oil.
I don't really like pumpkin, but this looks really good with the pecans and
dry cake mix..
Do I just mix

In a medium bowl, mix
the dry cake mix, egg and butter until well combined.
Blend
the dry cake mix (from step # 1) with water, oil and eggs in a large bowl with an electric mixer at low speed until moistened.
Sprinkle
the dry cake mix on top, followed by the marshmallows, chocolate chips, and Captain Crunch cereal.
Next, sprinkle
the dry cake mix over top.
The recipe stated to combine together
the dry cake mix, melted butter, evaporated milk and chopped pecans.
Sprinkle evenly with
dry cake mix.
