The NCCAH will pursue its vision
through knowledge synthesis, translation and exchange and the creation and fostering of linkages among First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples and communities, stakeholders, the population and public health community, and researchers.
To facilitate these answers, we continuously engage in a series of
multidimensional knowledge synthesis, technical assistance, and dissemination activities with multiple stakeholders to assist youth with disabilities to stay in school, progress in school, and complete school.

Finally, alignment between the Council and the Center's JPB Research Network on Toxic Stress, is aimed at connecting the JPB Network's original research agenda with the Council's «
knowledge synthesis and translation» agenda.
In a research synthesis discussed in the executive summary of STEM Teachers in Professional Learning Communities:
A Knowledge Synthesis conducted by the National Commission on Teaching and America's Future and WestEd, Fulton and Britton (2011) stated, «STEM teaching is more effective and student achievement increases when teachers join forces to develop strong professional learning communities in their schools» (p. 4).
The study was funded by SSHRC as part of
its Knowledge Synthesis program.
This has preserved something of an artificial distinction between (1) research, a not quite linear process of knowledge acquisition alternating between primary and secondary resources within a dedicated platform, and (2) analysis, a process of
knowledge synthesis and application that happened somewhere else.
