I kind of make something like this by
melting peanut butter on my apples and top with cinnamon and some chocolate chips.
In a microwave safe
bowl melt peanut butter until softened (this is very important if you're using natural peanut butter).
You can top with
more melted peanut butter (I mix a little coconut oil in to help with consistency), maple syrup, and / or some fresh fruit.
To make sure it gets evenly distributed through the recipe pour 1/3 of the ice cream base into the pan then add dollops
of melted peanut butter on top and swirl gently.
The base is chocolate swirled with
melted peanut butter chips, and topped with salted peanuts, pretzel twists and mini peanut butter cups!
I also just discovered (with a mouthful of muffin as I type) that they taste great with a bit of
melting peanut butter on them.
Use puffed brown rice as a nutritious topping for frozen yogurt or combine it
with melted peanut butter and marshmallows to make a healthier take on traditional puffed rice dessert treats.

Melting the peanut butter with the wet ingredients creates such an indulgent and tasty coating for the oat / nut mixture.

In a small mixing bowl,
