water over the herbs and let it steep for a minimum of five minutes and up to overnight.

In this version, tender beef meatballs are braised with vegetables, then
served over herbed couscous.
/ Pour half the hot
soup over the herbs / Place lid on the blender, holding lid with a towel, blend at low then high speed until smooth / Pour into a second pan, puree the rest of the herbs and soup base in the same way / Return it all to the stove and reheat, but do not simmer or soup will lose its bright color / Garnish with a few reserved sorrel leaves, parsley, chives and a little cream if that sounds good.
I cut it back but it still took
over the herb garden so I transplanted it in it's very own container.
New dishes include Seco de pato (duck
confit over herbed rice), Ecuadorian shrimp with linguiça over white polenta, and braised pork cheeks over celery root.
Fold the ends of the
cheesecloth over the herb and use a rubber spatula to press on the solids, extracting as much oil as possible (discard the solids).
Since they can't gain
control over herbs, of course they will do their best to debunk their effectiveness.

Be sure not to boil the tea; it is best to bring the water to temperature, remove the water from the heat source for a few moments, then
pour over the herbs and steep.

You may speed up the process by heating the vinegar and pouring
it over the herbs, which have been chopped and crushed.
Directly pouring boiling water
over the herbs is a harsher method, which kills off many of their benefits.
Gather herbs (double check with Mama to be certain it's really what you think it is), rinse, boil water, pour water
over the herbs, cover and steep for five minutes, strain, maybe add a little bit of honey, and cool, add lemon or berries or whatever else you might like to try.
To infuse: Pour boiling water
over herbs.
Pour enough boiling water
over herbs to just dampen all of them.
I poured 1/4 cup boiling water
over the herbs to help draw out the beneficial properties and then filled the rest of the jar with a strong food - grade liquor like rum or vodka (must be at least 40 % alcohol).
In the evening, put between 1/2 to 1 ounce of dried herbs in a quart - size Mason jar or French press, boil water, pour
over the herbs, and cover.

Or, pour boiling water
over the herbs, let them steep for 5 minutes, strain, pour over ice, and drink.
Pour 8 oz of freshly boiled water
