One all the ingredients are in the blender,
pulse it in 1 - 2 second pulses until it is the desired consistency.

You can make the dressing in a food processor as long as you do not
pulse it too fine.

If using regular rolled oats, I
recommend pulsing them for a few seconds in a food processor to make them a little smaller and easier to incorporate into the loaf.
If you'd like a chunkier sauce,
only pulse one can of tomatoes and leave the other can of diced tomatoes as - is.
