Line a baking sheet with parchmet and arrange
tofu squares in a single layer on top.
After reading your post, I did get the idea to raise up my
marinated tofu squares on a cookie rack placed on top of my parchment - lined baking sheet.
This is why I was so pleased to clip out not just one, but two uncommonly appealing recipes using silken tofu from the September issue of Whole Living: one for Beets and Kale with Creamy Tofu Dressing, and one for Lemon
Coconut Tofu Squares.
Note: You can add
little tofu squares, corn kernels, queso panela or mozzarella little squares if you want to make it into a complete lunch or dinner... This soup makes for a fabulous beginning of a meal, for lunch or if you dare for brunch... put an egg on it!
So, for those of you that are kind of timid to use this Earth's amazing food, I I promise you good / delicious eating - frying
your tofu squares, MY WAY.
Roll
the tofu squares to your hearts content in THE MIX, and deep fry them....
To serve, either toss the cubes of fried tofu with some of the sauce and sprinkle with the garnishes of your choice; do the same, but serve in a soft taco shell with some shredded cabbage; or serve as an appetizer with a toothpick in
each tofu square, a little sauce on the side, and the garnishes of your choice.
