I'm saying he's not a high goal
scoring type of striker, his work rate is high and he is well involved in build up plays.
However, the more I listen to these debates, the more I hear people focusing more on that one
ideal type of striker to lead the charge.
He is a target
man type of striker and has done a great job as such even if some of you won't admit it.
But he hasn't got a goal good goal scoring opportunity for 3 games now, and thats where a
different type of striker can help get us goals.
Giroud is the Old fashion British Center forward
type of striker who plays with his back to goal.
Their midfield, especially the defensive area is a lot worse than ours and it doesn't matter
what type of strikers a team has... if the engine of the team is not up to scratch, the whole team will fall apart.
What we need is a Suarez or
Aguero type of striker, someone with pace, finishing, strength, never say die attitude and winning mentality
Unfortunately, the Thierry Henry
type of striker doesn't exist in abundance the way we think, and if a club is lucky, they will get just one player like that but not up to three.
Thats why i think we need a different
type of striker in our squad who has that kind of quality.
I think Wenger will either choose between Welbeck or Sanogo because both of them are
similar types of strikers (tall, lanky, but fast).
I agree Ozil has been less than scintillating in his brief tenure @ the Emirates but give the man a Cavani, Benzema,
Lewandowski type of striker in front of him and the German will once again shine.
We need to understand that for our system to work we need a van persie kind of striker - a person who is as adept at scoring goals as in assisting, or may be I should say
Sanchez type of striker.
Have you noticed??? Wenger loves the old -
schOol type of strikers: talk, sluggish, quite lanky and slow, but good with the phenomenal «hold - up play».
Ideally it's Lacazette who should leave & Giroud remain as our 2nd choice as he offers different
type of Striker which is the target man especially after proving to be a great super-sub for us... but no manager in their right mind would sell a player they juz bought for a club record after juz 6 month.
I like Lacazette and I worry for him — he's a
Defoe type of striker and that just doesn't seem to be the way forward in this team or this league.

Wenger likes
certain types of strikers and the only time i recall him getting a player who is all about finishing is Jeffers, we know how that turned out... there was Suker & Eduardo too but they had something more also a high class of finishing ability especially Suker.

Ozil definitely needs a different
type of striker than Giroud in front of him, that is for sure.

type of striker to Lukaku.
giroud is a waste and he doesn't deserve to wear arsenal jersey, he is very lazy, last 2 season henry told Wenger u can never win EPL with giroud and people thought it was a lie and you all are seeing
the type of striker giroud is, its better Wenger sell him or swap him as part of lacazette deal it will good for the fans
Arsenal need him more because he is
the type of striker who can offer a mixtures of goals: his speed and foot work is a thorn to defenders so we expect to have a lot of goals from spot kick next season, plus he can score from a long range.
