Showcasing a shimmery foil - effect floral print, this beautiful piece presents a pretty pleated skirt and has been
designed with a petticoat to create a fuller effect.
Sara: My everyday go - to is either a dress or swing skirt / blouse
combo with a petticoat, a bangle stack, a brooch, possibly a pair of vintage clip - on earrings, and a pair of BAIT Footwear shoes.
Although it's 100 % polyester, it's of reasonable weight and feel for the price ($ 39 - $ 48 USD) and has a glorious fullness (made even
better with my petticoat) and pockets -LRB-!)
It still looks
fabulous with a petticoat, of course, and that's how I photographed it for you, to show it at it's full glory as per my usual style.
She measures 23 ″ in length and had a modest amount of fullness, with tiered layers and not too much ruching in each layer (which seriously helps reduced the «edge effect» you can often

I personally
struggle with petticoats that add too much ruching along the bottom hem — this often leaves you with a triangular skirt - shape or (worse yet) a sharp drop off where the petticoat ends and the rest of your dress hem begins.
But for creatures like this black margined nudibranch (Doriprismatica atromarginata),
with its petticoat frills and graphic elegance — not to mention the apparition of an expressive little face — it's just business as usual.
In our differing sizes of S and L it looks just as lovely, and can be
worn with petticoat and without.
I feel most beautiful when... I'm wearing a full circle skirt
with a petticoat.
