Add onions and mushrooms (sprinkle
with additional pepper if you like) and cook until onions are translucent and mushrooms are cooked.
Is there a way I can harvest and store the peppers for 3 - 4 weeks until I (hopefully) have
enough additional peppers to smoke?

Once your sauce is spiced to your liking and heated through, add it to your pasta and top with
additional peppers, cilantro and some caramelized onions.
I also ended up using more salt and pepper than called for in the recipe because I felt it needed the salt and I happen to be a pepper lover and
the additional pepper gave the soup a slight peppery bite in the aftertaste, which I really enjoyed.
