Don't
look at people as someone to fall in love with (or not), but look at them as a friend you haven't met yet.
Heck you don't even need intention... just
looking at a person with lust is enough even if you had no intention of acting on it.
But, sadly, people like you have to
look at people like me & assume something is wrong with me, while, I look at you & think nothing.
You can start to narrow down your target audience
by looking at the people who are affected by the issue you want your business to address.
Simply put, a phone interview is a chance for the hiring manager or recruiter to get a first
look at the person behind the resume.
The result is an unprecedented
look at the people on the front lines of emergency healthcare; the doctors and nurses that strive daily to care for patients in a complex, broken system.
Try to go on dates where you do something exciting and new to get dopamine flowing and really take a
good look at that person.
One way or another it is people looking at the windows, or we are
looking at the people looking at the windows, or there are just windows itself.
If this is going to change in the church it will take a lot of leaders brave enough to
look at people first and willing to leave the 99 to save the 1.
Rather than
look at people through the lens of politics or religion, look at them through the lens of a shared humanity.
Walking past mirrors with my head down,
avoiding looking at people in the eye, ashamed of how I looked and what others might think about me.
And that's how most prospective
hires look at the person who interviews them initially, as an ambassador trying to make a good impression on them.
Keep looking at people different than you as «problems» or «not worthy» and YOU will be «dealt a hand» you NEVER expected to receive.
