She had always enjoyed yoga as a way to exercise and unwind, but after years climbing the proverbial ladder, she decided to switch gears and
begin teaching prenatal yoga classes in Downtown Seattle.

from teaching prenatal yoga, added in the postpartum exercise class with the moms and babies for the moms and babies and then in 2009 we opened up out first full center up in Roseville and that's where we started offering the added services of child birth classes, lactation services, um and grew from there into all the classes including the ones you teach!
This training will prepare you to
teach Prenatal Yoga as well as Fertility Yoga and Postpartum Yoga in both group and private settings.

Specialist Teaching prenatal yoga over the last 12 + years has been such a beautiful, humbling gift.
She has been
teaching prenatal yoga since 1998 and instructs the Integral Yoga Prenatal and Postpartum Teacher Training Programs, as well as being a certified Midwife Assistant, labor support doula, and childbirth educator.
Deena is also the owner of Shining Light Prenatal Education, where
she teaches prenatal yoga, childbirth education, breastfeeding and much more.
She has had the opportunity to explore child birth from different perspectives by: developing and
teaching Prenatal Yoga classes, caring for pregnant social high risk and new immigrant women at the Northeast Health Centre, and by working in Nunavut as a Maternal Newborn Health Services Consultant for the Government of Nunavut.
She also is certified to
teach Prenatal Yoga.
