i have two freinds who own only wii's (and ps2, gamecube) and they are pretty active gamers, but mainly they play games that do nt require the wiimote as much SSB, Galexy, etc..

Wii Play is a launch title (remember we're talking about Europe) and I guess they shipped way too many of them (from what I can tell most stores have stocked more Wii Play than normal remotes or even Wiis), stores have huge piles of them sitting around unsold.

although mario kart wii sold more copies than SSB brawl, i think Smash bros has more hardcore fans and i personally like it Better.

I haven't played Prime and several other wii titles so I bought all the ones I wanted to play and it was a big selling point to me.
