airpower mat is in a silly predicament.
When we heard rumors that the new 2017 iPhones would include true wireless charging initially, there was much talk suggesting that Apple had been waiting for a new type of charging system to become available and while that turned out to not be the case, we do now at least have the standard Qi wireless charging capabilities in the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X, as well as Apple's own wireless charging mechanism that lets the phones charge via
AirPower charging hub.

The tech giant also announced last year that it's releasing its own wireless charging mat
called AirPower along with a wireless charging case for the AirPods.
Most interesting, of course, is Apple's own
AirPower Charger which can handle a phone, an Apple Watch Series 3, and a set of AirPods in the new wireless charging case, but that won't be on sale until 2018.
So unless you have the patience of a monk and the bank balance of Bill Gates, there really is no need for you to wait
for AirPower for your new iPhone.

Generally speaking there's been a reduction

AirPower which can house up to three Apple gadgets at the same time; such as an iPhone, an Apple Watch and the AirPods.
Meanwhile, if you're not too keen on waiting until next year for Apple's
proprietary AirPower wireless charging mat, you can choose from a solid and relatively affordable duo of third - party correspondents.
If not, then iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPod owners won't have much of an option except for
buying AirPower if they wish to wirelessly charge all their three devices simultaneously.
If that's correct, it would make sense that Apple also chooses the month to debut its eagerly anticipated
AirPower tech.

see AirPower in 2018, which gives us a pretty wide range.

Now, it looks
like AirPower and the new AirPods wireless charging case will be released in March.
Apple didn't say how
much AirPower would cost or when, exactly, it will be available.
Best Buy is said to start receiving
AirPower units in - store towards the end of March, possibly to coincide with Apple retailing the device in its own stores.
So I'm sure at this point we all know that Apple is releasing a special wireless charging case for AirPods later this year, meant for use with Qi wireless chargers and the highly
anticipated AirPower charging mat.
The new Apple -

Apple itself is not selling a wireless charger for the new iPhones, though it did
demo AirPower — a wireless charging pad — for the new iPhones, AirPods, and Apple Watch Series 3.
While the latest iPhones» charge tech is based on Qi, Apple has tweaked it to come up with its own
AirPower standard.
