The recipe I used isn't my own — I've combined two recipes, which both are based on this old recipe
from the Vegetarian times.
My youngest daughter doesn't eat much meat so I have to make sure she gets a complete form of
protein from vegetarian meals.
I've never tried to change a person's diet
away from vegetarian or vegan which they are following due to their religion.
There is a growing group of people who are getting the results they need by incorporating meat — raw and cooked — to get the results they were not
getting from a vegetarian diet.
I would like to give this to my daughter and hopefully encourage her to make the
move from vegetarian to vegan.
However, even as someone as
far from the vegetarian end of the spectrum as could be, I am more than happy to have this, quite simply, as is.
And yet... when people
transit from vegetarian to vegan, one of the first things they often say they miss is cheese.
Often when people gain
weight from a vegetarian diet, it's because they've replaced meat with refined starches, processed foods, and sweets.
Apart from our vegetarian cuisine, we would love to provide a complete vegan diet on prior notification for those who prefer it.
