However, about two years ago (after eating what seemed like my umpteenth slice of chewy, dense rye) I decided to try my luck with the simplest of Italian focaccia: Italian «tipo «flour, lots of hydration, extra virgin olive oil, yeast and

I made half the batch as is, and to the other half I added turmeric, chilly flakes — and a sprinkling of
sea salt flakes on top.
We use Iodized Table Salt for adding to water for vegetables,
Sea Salt Flakes for seasoning meat & garnishing, and Himalayan Pink Salt for everything from cooking to making shower scrubs.
Make chocolate bark: Pour leftover chocolate into a shallow puddle on parchment or wax paper and sprinkle with chopped nuts, dried fruits, crushed candies, crumbled cookie chunks, a pinch
of sea salt flakes, etc..
Sea salt flakes are great on top and we love the salt + chocolate combo, but desiccated coconut would also look good.
