I recommend it for cooking because it is much more stable
than other vegetable oils; when it's heated it won't create toxic trans fatty acids.
One downside to olive oil is that it contains significantly less omega - 3 fatty
acids than other vegetable oils, especially canola, flaxseed, walnut and soybean oils.

It is true that the calories in carrots are higher
than some other vegetables, but don't be afraid to eat them!!
But if the ratio of sugar - y fruits is higher
than the other vegetables or fat content, the smoothie is going to be more of a blood sugar roller coaster than it is stabilizing for both mood, hunger and energy.
