We grill all year long and have never tried this method of
cooking the onions in foil — I am totally making this!
Heat 1 tbsp of the garlic butter in a saucepan and gently

I would like to drain the fat this time around for healthier reasons and
cook the onions down in a little beef stock, or french onion soup.
Next cook the onions, celery, and garlic until translucent, or you can smell the veggies cooking down.

often cook the onions a day or two ahead of time, and keep them in a jar in the refrigerator until I'm ready to assemble everything.
